Meals at Camp
Lunch is included for our day campers (6&7, half & full day, LIT programs) and breakfast, lunch, and dinner for our residential campers. In September 2017, Tabor opened its newly renovated dining hall and kitchen that our campers enjoy each summer. Tabor’s dining service is managed by Flik Independent Schools. They take pride in their food service by providing a variety of food choices, prepared using only the freshest ingredients. They use cage-free eggs, serve seafood purchased in accordance with seafood watch guidelines for sustainability, and buy locally sourced ingredients as much as possible.
The dining services team strives to make the mealtime experience as close to home cooking as possible. There are gluten/dairy free options, and a gluten aware serving station for our community that have special dietary needs and/or restrictions. Due to the growing number of individuals affected by peanut allergies our dining hall is peanut free. Please make sure to indicate any allergies on your child's health history form.
