Half-Day, Full-Day & Residential Experiences Available

Tabor Summer Camp

A Tabor tradition since 1917, Tabor Summer Camp offers classic summer fun for ages 7–16 in a vibrant waterfront community. Campers explore their interests through activities including sports, swimming, kayaking, ceramics, drama, and the arts. Each day brings opportunities to participate in multiple activities, learn new things, build confidence, and develop lasting friendships. Our residential experience extends the fun beyond the camp day, fostering independence, teamwork, and a sense of belonging. Teens ages 14–18 can take the next step through our Counselor-in-Training program, developing leadership skills while mentoring younger campers.

Tabor Sailing School

Tabor Sailing School welcomes sailors ages 7–18 of all experience levels to develop their skills, confidence, and passion for sailing on the waters of Sippican Harbor and Buzzards Bay. From first-time beginners to competitive racers, students learn from experienced coaches in a supportive, hands-on environment. Sailors are grouped by ability, ensuring instruction and challenges are tailored to their experience and skill level. Through boat handling, sailing techniques, and racing strategies, students build independence, teamwork, and confidence on the water. With every session, sailors gain the skills and experience to take on new challenges and reach their full potential.

Ocean & Climate Institute

The Ocean & Climate Institute invites students ages 7–18 to explore marine science, ocean ecosystems, and climate science through hands-on discovery. Using our Marine and Nautical Science Center, Sippican Harbor, and Buzzards Bay as living classrooms, students conduct research aboard Tabor’s research vessel, explore coastal estuaries, and perform wet lab experiments. Guided by Tabor faculty, participants develop scientific skills, critical thinking, and an understanding of our changing environment through fieldwork and collaborative research, learning to analyze data, solve problems, and communicate findings while gaining a deeper appreciation for the natural world.

Advanced Scholar Program

Tabor's Advanced Scholar Program offers two academic pathways fostering curiosity, global connections, and growth. Gateways is an eight-day residential academic enrichment program for students entering grades 6–8, combining academic seminars with American boarding school life. The University Track offers a rigorous, three-week experience for domestic and international students entering grades 8–10, exploring future college majors and careers. Through specialized coursework, mentored research, and hands-on projects, students strengthen critical thinking skills and produce original work. Both pathways inspire academic discovery, personal growth, and lasting connections.

Our Community. Endless Possibilities

Your Summer. Your Way.

While each Tabor Summer program offers a unique experience, shared traditions bring our community together.

Campers begin their mornings with a community gathering before heading into their chosen programs. Full-day participants come together for lunch and Hoyt Half, a campus-wide activity that celebrates the spirit of Tabor Summer.

Looking for even more variety? Campers wishing to participate in Tabor Sailing School or the Ocean & Climate Institute can choose to join Tabor Summer Camp in the afternoon for sports, waterfront adventures, creative arts, and beloved camp traditions, including 220 Rock.

For those seeking an extended experience, Tabor's residential experience offers evening activities, shared experiences, and opportunities to build lasting friendships within our summer community.

One beautiful waterfront campus. Countless opportunities to explore.
